Neurologist (Austria-Czech Republic border)
Responsibilities
Join an innovative hospital-based in Northern Austria close to the Czech Border, leader in the community, subspecialty stroke neurology practice interested in offering “just-in-time” care for stroke emergencies, and with limited stroke clinic commitment. The stroke program has organized coverage together with a new Neurohospitalist Practice to improve the hospital neurology coverage and limit the call burden for individual providers. This Comprehensive Stroke Center supports Vascular Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care to create a stroke program destination for the most complex of Neurovascular cases.
ER and in-hospital consults, integration and overlap with Neurohospitalists, research, and participation in stroke team and neuro ICU rounds, and direct involvement in quality improvement projects that can fundamentally change how the work is done including expansion of treatment delivery.
Education
- MD (medical doctor) or
- Neurology Residency
